META™

Energy storage solutions have become the key enabling technology for the success of many applications. Current storage solutions that are available in the industry are battery based and they have challenges with regards to lifecycle, efficiency and supporting high power density applications. Mesha has developed a unique technology called META™ which transforms a normal battery into a PowerBattery. The basis of the META™ technology is to incorporate capacitance characteristics into the battery where:

High surface area activated carbon is processed and a small percentage of this material is integrated with the battery material.
Incorporation of the processed activated carbon provides the capacitance characteristic to the battery without affecting the energy storage or density.

META™ does not disrupt the existing battery manufacturing production line.

META™ 45

META is a processed carbon product where the major constituent of the product is activated high surface area carbon. Along with this a small percentage of oxides of metal are added as gas suppressants and a binder is also added. As the carbon is in bonded form, it prevents shredding on the electrode and slows down the degradation.

META helps the battery manufacturer to create efficient electrodes.
Process of Addition involves the following : Add META 45 along with the other additives in Negative Active Material(NAM).There is no change in regular battery manufacturing process
