Inverters are popular in homes and offices during power disruptions.
All of the inverters use a battery as a backup during these power interruptions. When the power does comeback, the recharging of the battery takes a long time and if there are frequent power disruptions the battery does not get fully recharged, so the backup time becomes less.
The current inverters also cannot support high end appliances unless higher inverters are used, and the batteries are oversized to support the surge currents in these appliances.
